How to Use Your Claspable™
Step 1 — Attach your Claspable™ to your jewelry
Open the clasp at one end of your Claspable™ and attach it to the end loop of your necklace or bracelet — the same loop your original clasp connects to. Then take your jewelry's original clasp and attach it to the other end of your Claspable™. Your jewelry and Claspable™ are now connected as one piece.
Step 2 — Extend the length fully
Slide the adjustable bead all the way down toward the end of the chain. This opens the Claspable™ to its full length, giving you enough room to slip your necklace over your head or your bracelet over your hand without needing to fasten anything.
Step 3 — Put it on
Slip the necklace over your head or slide the bracelet over your hand. No reaching behind your neck. No asking for help. Just lift and go.
Step 4 — Adjust to fit
Once your jewelry is on, hold the end of the Claspable™ chain below the sliding bead and move the bead up toward your neck or wrist until you reach the length you want. The bead holds in place on its own — no locking mechanism needed.
To take it off
Hold the chain below the sliding bead and move the bead back down to fully extend the length again. Lift the necklace over your head or slide the bracelet off your wrist.
A note on care
The sliding mechanism works with gentle pressure. There is no need to pull hard. If the bead feels stiff, ease it back the other way slightly first. Avoid pulling vigorously as this can put unnecessary strain on both your Claspable™ and your jewelry.
Works best with: Pendant necklaces, chain necklaces with some weight. On very lightweight chains, you may need to give the necklace a gentle tug downward occasionally to keep it sitting where you want it. This is normal and takes a second to adjust once you know to expect it.
One Claspable™ or several?
You can attach your Claspable™ to one piece of jewelry and move it to another whenever you like. Many people find it easier to have one Claspable™ for each favorite piece so everything is always ready to wear.
