Is the Claspable™ good for someone with arthritis or limited hand mobility?

Yes! I designed this partly because of my own arthritis. Traditional jewelry clasps require two hands and a fair amount of finger dexterity. For anyone dealing with arthritis, reduced grip strength or limited dexterity, it can be impossible to use alone. The Claspable™ replaces that with a simple sliding bead. It's a meaningful gift for anyone who struggles with putting on jewelry.

Will my Claspable™ work with necklaces and bracelets I already own?
Claspable works with lobster clasps and spring-ring clasps, which are the two most common types on necklaces and bracelets.

Will it work with delicate or lightweight necklaces?

Yes, though it works best with necklaces that have some weight to them — think pendant necklaces, chunkier chains, or anything with a bit of substance. On very fine lightweight chains the Claspable™ can occasionally cause the necklace to shift position so the converter sits higher than you'd expect. If that happens, a gentle tug on the necklace repositions it in a second. Most people find this becomes a quick habit rather than an inconvenience.

Which size should I get — 3-inch or 8-inch?

The 3-inch Claspable™ is the most versatile option. It works for bracelets and necklaces 20 inches and longer. If you're not sure which size to get, start here.

The 8-inch Claspable™ is designed for shorter necklaces — typically 16 to 18 inches — that you want to slip over your head rather than fasten at the back. It adds enough length to clear your head, then slides to your preferred fit.

Will it look obvious on my jewelry?

The Claspable™ is designed to blend in. It looks like a small section of chain — most people won't notice it at all. Matching your metal to your jewelry helps it disappear completely: sterling silver with silver pieces, gold with gold.

Can I move it between different pieces of jewelry?

Yes — you can clip it on and off as needed. A lot of people end up buying a few so each favorite piece has its own. That way it's always ready to go without having to swap it around every morning.

Will the adjustable ring fit?

Our rings adjust to fit most finger sizes comfortably — typically sizes 5 through 9. The open band presses gently to fit and holds its shape. If you typically wear a size 10 or above, the band may not open enough to fit your finger. 

What makes the lever back earrings easier to wear?

Lever backs have a hinged latch that opens with one finger — no separate earring back to pinch onto a post, drop, or lose. You open the latch, insert the earring, and close it. That's it. They're also more secure than standard butterfly backs, so they're less likely to come out during the day.

Which material should I choose for the Claspable™?

Stainless steel is the most affordable and handles everyday wear well including light water exposure. Gold-plated gives you a warm gold tone at an accessible price — best for occasional rather than daily wear as the finish can fade over time. Sterling silver is solid .925 silver, hypoallergenic and tarnish-resistant with basic care. Gold vermeil is sterling silver with a thick layer of 18k gold — more durable than standard gold plating and the most luxurious option.

When in doubt, match the metal to whatever you wear most. If you tend to wear silver jewelry, go sterling silver. Gold jewelry — go gold vermeil or gold plated depending on your budget.

Can I sleep in my Claspable™?

We don't recommend it. It's designed to be easy to take off, so removing it before bed is quick and it will last longer if you do.

Can I wear my jewelry in water? 

Our stainless steel version handles water well. For sterling silver and gold vermeil, we'd suggest taking it off before swimming, showering, or going in a hot tub. Prolonged exposure to chlorine and salt water will wear down the finish over time.

When will I receive my order?

You'll get a shipping confirmation email with tracking as soon as your order ships. If your tracking hasn't updated after 48 hours, email us at info@maliagracejewelry.com and we'll look into it for you.

Do you ship internationally?

Not yet . We currently ship within the US only. We're working on it!

What is your return policy?

If you're not happy with your order for any reason, we'll make it right. You can start a return within 30 days of receiving your order. Items need to be unworn and in original condition. If something arrived damaged or isn't what you expected, email us at info@maliagracejewelry.com and we'll sort it out quickly.
